The three headline volcanic sites in one day, with every entry ticket already in the price — which is the point of this listing. Timanfaya, Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua are separately ticketed and separately queued; here they arrive as one booking.
Inside Timanfaya you ride the Ruta de los Volcanes, the road through the crater field that can only be travelled with an official guide, and stop at Islote de Hilario for the geothermal demonstrations — brushwood that ignites on contact with the ground, water that comes back up as a jet of steam.
In the north, the Cueva de los Verdes is a guided walk through one of the world's longest lava tubes, cut by the La Corona eruption, with chambers up to forty metres high running out beneath the sea. Jameos del Agua, in a collapsed section of the same tube, is César Manrique's best-known work. The ground is uneven in places and the day runs long — cruise passengers finish around 19:00–19:30.

- There may be a logistics stop at Yaiza to redistribute passengers between coaches.
- Cruise passengers should note the tour finishes around 19:00–19:30.

As a family of four, we had an absolutely amazing day...The Cueva Verdes, James del Água and the Timanfaya tour was absolutely spectacular!!! Ana Cristina was absolutely phenomenal and gave us so much information, and made the tour soooo special full of facts anf information on the island, Cesar Manrique etc.... she was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed every little bit of it, she told a story and brought our attention and knowledge up to speed in a fun and interesting way- she did so in three languages!! Absolutely fantastic!!!! Our bus driver- ( I want to say his name is Manuel, but I am not so sure- sorry) is phenomenally skilled at driving a tour bus in the Timanfaya park- I believe he saved us all on those tight Vulcano roads...lol😊😊😊...and I will never give up my day job to be a bus tour driver in Lanzarote!!! 🥰🥰🥰 We loved every minute of it and had an absolute blast!!!! Thoroughly enjoyed this day trip. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Excellent value for money. You get to see more of Timanfaya National Park than if going by car, as the route is only open to bus tours. Would highly recommend. Note lunch and drinks are not included but the restaurant we were taken to for lunch was fantastic, food was delicious and good value for money.

Do I still have to pay at the gate?
No. Entry to Timanfaya National Park, Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua is included in this ticket. That is the main difference between this listing and the cheaper island-highlights coach tours.
Can I walk the Ruta de los Volcanes myself?
No. The crater road inside Timanfaya is only accessible with an official guide, which is why it appears on tours and not on any self-drive itinerary.
What happens at Islote de Hilario?
Park staff demonstrate the geothermal heat directly under the surface: dry brushwood dropped into a pit catches without a flame, and water poured into a borehole returns as a jet of steam within seconds.
How late does the tour finish?
It runs about nine hours. If you are travelling from a cruise ship, the operator flags a finish of roughly 19:00 to 19:30 — check that against your all-aboard time before booking.
